Posts

In a perfect world, I’d post an entry every day.  But it’s not a perfect world, so there are some weeks that will see only one or two (or perhaps no) entries, and there are other weeks that will see many entries.  I’ve given up on trying to force myself to write daily entries, for two big reasons:  some days I really don’t have anything of value to say, and some days I just don’t have time available to write a coherent post.

In addition, now that I’m in graduate school again, I need to be realistic about how much time I can devote to my blog.  Ideally, while I’m in the midst of a semester, I will try to post once a week; but this is not always realistic!

So if I don’t post for a few days, don’t give up on me.  When I have time and something to say, a new entry will be posted.  Thanks for reading!

And a quick note on my oldest entries: if you read back in the years, you will notice that my oldest entries have odd formatting.  This is due to two things: the Great Blog Crash of many years ago, when I misguidedly wrote an entry in Word and then pasted it into WordPress, which crashed my blog and forced me to spend hours retrieving old posts via cached files on Google; and also from the switch I made a couple of years ago to a new theme, which oddly altered my older entries, too.

Ideally, I would go back and edit all of those old posts to make them pretty again, but, being human, I’m far more interested in writing new posts than in editing old ones.  My apologies!
