{"id":50,"date":"2007-07-23T07:24:54","date_gmt":"2007-07-23T11:24:54","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/abbykingsbury.org\/books\/?p=50"},"modified":"2007-07-23T21:29:31","modified_gmt":"2007-07-24T01:29:31","slug":"and-what-happened-on-friday","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/abbykingsbury.org\/books\/and-what-happened-on-friday\/","title":{"rendered":"And what happened on Friday?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Friday was a blissfully quiet day.\u00c2\u00a0 <em>Blissfully<\/em> quiet.<\/p>\n<p>In fact, I was able to do some book ordering, and to spend some time figuring out the website of our new book vendor.\u00c2\u00a0 The state has chosen to go with a different primary vendor for books this year, and I need to kick my old brain into gear and get used to the new vendor&#8217;s way of doing business.\u00c2\u00a0 It&#8217;s hard to change my ordering ways, and I&#8217;ll definitely be slower the first few times that I use the new site.\u00c2\u00a0 But no complaints, really; in fact, the new vendor offers some features that may end up being extremely useful ordering tools.<\/p>\n<p>And\u00c2\u00a0when I wasn&#8217;t ordering books on Friday, I was finishing my preparations for Saturday&#8217;s Harry Potter party.\u00c2\u00a0 Which will be an entry for another day.\u00c2\u00a0<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Friday was a blissfully quiet day.\u00c2\u00a0 Blissfully quiet.
