{"id":36,"date":"2007-06-28T15:52:46","date_gmt":"2007-06-28T19:52:46","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/abbykingsbury.org\/books\/?p=36"},"modified":"2007-06-28T15:52:46","modified_gmt":"2007-06-28T19:52:46","slug":"caught-up","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/abbykingsbury.org\/books\/caught-up\/","title":{"rendered":"Caught up?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Could it be?\u00c2\u00a0 Is it possible?\u00c2\u00a0 Has it happened?<\/p>\n<p>For the last two and a half months, I&#8217;ve felt more than a little behind, the way I used to feel when running track races in high school (clearly I never made varsity).\u00c2\u00a0 Pant, pant, pant.\u00c2\u00a0 Can&#8217;t quite catch up.\u00c2\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>After being closed for a\u00c2\u00a0month for the library move, then being swarmed with business in the new building, then the preparations for the summer reading program &#8211; well, my office looked like a combination of a storage area and dumping ground.\u00c2\u00a0 Not good.\u00c2\u00a0 And my hyper-organized self was miserable.\u00c2\u00a0 All I wanted was to get rid of the piles of books and catalogs and reams of lists that were stacked on my office desk.\u00c2\u00a0 It didn&#8217;t seem too possible.<\/p>\n<p>But then there was yesterday.\u00c2\u00a0 I got in a half hour early (I love getting to work early now&#8230;I must be aging), and by Renee&#8217;s arrival in my room at 1, I was actually caught up.\u00c2\u00a0 Well, ok, my office was clean.\u00c2\u00a0 I&#8217;ll be fully caught up by the end of next week.\u00c2\u00a0 But most of my to-be-done piles are taken care of, and it\u00c2\u00a0no longer feels like I&#8217;ll never be caught up.\u00c2\u00a0 So now we have our fabulous new building, AND the rhythm of\u00c2\u00a0my work is starting to fall into a manageable pace.\u00c2\u00a0 Aaaaaah.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Could it be?\u00c2\u00a0 Is it possible?\u00c2\u00a0 Has it happened?
