Ok, it’s that time of year. \u00a0I woke up at 4:30 this morning, and started to panic about all that I have to get done. \u00a0The elementary school visits begin on June 3, which is the unofficial start to summer reading (even though the “real” summer reading doesn’t start until June 25, the day of the Ice Cream Social).<\/p>\n

It’s lovely that there is a movie night tonight, and equally lovely that this is a three-day holiday weekend, but in reality all that means is that I lose four hours today and eight hours on Monday when I could be getting a lot of work done. \u00a0So I gave up on sleep at 5:15, and hauled myself into work very very early. \u00a0Hopefully I’ll be able to get enough done this morning before we open so that I can enjoy my holiday weekend.<\/p>\n

And this is one of those days when I want to point out to anyone who thinks my job is “cute” and easy – it ain’t. \u00a0It’s a lot of never-ending, hard hard work. \u00a0Rewarding work, but hard hard work. \u00a0And did I mention never-ending? \u00a0\ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
