I'm Abby Kingsbury, and I work as a children's librarian in central Massachusetts. I'm also a reading tutor with a private practice. My Web site is devoted to children's literature, literary theory, reading, and related topics.
Just about everything on my Web site can be found on my blog, Children and Books. (An older version of my blog can be found here, and I'm slowly working on moving those archives onto the new blog site.)
My blog has reviews of children's books -- everything from picture books, through chapter books, up to young adult literature. Every once in a while, I also discuss literary theory. As both a librarian and a reading tutor, I'm interested in reading and how children learn to read, so you'll also find blog posts on reading.
